intermediate series: FLOWER PIPING workshop
Seasonal blooms – Classic Peonies, Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Anemones.
Fri, Mar 7 (Sold out) / Tue, Apr 1 (4 seats) / Fri, Apr 25 (5 seats)
**Flowers will change every month or two to reflect the beauty of the season, ensuring students have the opportunity to work with a variety of floral designs throughout the year.
Designed for those with some prior piping experience, this hands-on workshop focuses on refining techniques and elevating your buttercream floral piping skills. Unlike the introductory class, which builds foundational skills, this intermediate course challenges students to create more intricate, life-like flowers with enhanced precision and detail.
This session will center on advanced flower piping, featuring a rotating selection of season’s blooms: classic peonies, dahlias, chrysanthemums, and Anemones. Students will work on mastering delicate petal movement, layered floral arrangements, and dynamic composition, all while achieving a natural, organic aesthetic. Special attention will be given to piping consistency, pressure control, and petal shaping to bring depth and realism to each flower.
This workshop is ideal for those who are comfortable with basic piping techniques (such as roses and simple blossoms) and want to refine their skills with more complex, professional-looking florals. It’s a great next step for students who have taken the introductory class or have prior piping experience.
Each student will bring 6 decorated cupcakes, showcasing the skills learned in class. To ensure individualized instruction, class sizes are limited to 5 participants.
